"Our aim is customer satisfaction"

Handelsbanken offers local relationship banking with products and services tailored to the needs of our personal and business banking customers.

Our decentralised approach is core to our success. Our branch operates as a small business, enabling us to make decisions locally and to provide a truly personal service. As a relationship bank, we are driven by what our customers need, designing flexible solutions to suit their demands. And because we are not target driven, we take a long-term view, investing time to get to know our customers, their goals and ambitions.

Customer satisfaction is a priority at Handelsbanken. In October 2016, Handelsbanken was rated top for customer satisfaction for the eighth year running, in an independent survey of British banks’ personal and business customers, conducted by EPSI Rating (
