A brewery with a difference - Iron Pier Brewery

Since 2017, the Iron Pier Brewery has fought successfully for its place in a crowded and stretched market.

With its most visible competitors being the multinational giants, director James Hayward  has had to provide an experience that the bigger businesses do not.

He said: " We are passionate about education and through our beer ranges, our taprooms and our tours we give people an insight into the wider range ofbeer flavours available, both modern and historic.

"We use locally grown ingredients, supporting other Kent businesses, but also giving our beers a sense of place, and in our heritage ranges we often recreate historic recipes from former Kent breweries such as Russell's of Gravesend and the Kidd
brewery in Dartford. "

However, the brewery doesn't just focus on historic recipes and the range usually includes everything from fruit sours to hazy IPAs, allowing its brewers a chance to perfect their skills across a huge range of beer styles and processes.

The company recently expanded its operations into Folkestone and Sussex.
