It is primarily a table service, no bar alehouse, which puts its 'Family' of customers first. However with people having changed their social habits since the pandemic, the hospitality industry is having to work doubly hard. More people have turned to non-alcohol drinks meaning the industry has to change its offering.
Landlord John Warden said:” We listen to our customers and expand and change the choices of product we supply. We run regular quiz nights, beer and whisky tastings and karaoke nights. We have a whisky investment group and a growing beer brewing group. The Compass is above all a place where people come to belong, feel safe and valued.”
