For 20 years, Gravesend Network Development CIC, a not for profit organisation, has beeen delivering support for the wellbeing of the community both young and old.
This involves courses such as basic English, teaching people how to use the
internet, connecting with others through singing and developing confidence and skills.
Adult support helps people stay mobile for longer through gentle exercise classes.
Young people are encouraged to develop skills and gain confidence and are also supported to talk about their health especially their mental health and wellbeing in a safe environment, supported by trained youth workers.
Finance director Julie Hudson said:"We are currently delivering a digital programme supporting older adults to manage long term conditions such as diabetes, COPD, heart disease and asthma through teaching them how to use the myhealth apps."
