Ellenor

40 years of care

Ellenor is a local hospice charity providing vital support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in North Kent and Bexley.

For 40 years, ellenor has embraced life, offering support from the moment of diagnosis and beyond. Its specialised services extend to both adults and children across Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and Bexley.

For adults there are a raft of essential services including inpatient ward and community  made up of Hospice @ Home and Care Home Support. In addition there are Wellbeing and Therapeutic Service provisions, designed to address people’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Even with a life-limiting diagnosis, people can still enjoy life, laugh, smile, have something to look forward to and make wonderful memories, because on top of the clinical care, there is a huge range of wellbeing and therapeutic services that ensure life is lived.

This care always extends to those close to the patients relatives. Support, care, information on what’s going on and what they can do. It’s not just the patient living through a diagnosis – it’s those around them. Even if clinical care isn’t provided by ellenor for a life-limiting condition, therapeutic services are still available.
