Community is truly at the heart of this Gravesend brewery and taproom. Since opening in 2017, they’ve not only crafted award-winning beers but also invested deeply in local people, offering in-house and external training so staff can grow across every part of the business. Despite challenges like rising national insurance and minimum wage costs, their commitment to quality, community, and sustainability hasn’t wavered — from recycling mountains of cardboard to reclaiming an incredible 3,000L of hot water per brew.

What really sets Iron Pier apart is their dedication to making their product from scratch and supporting UK and Kent hop producers wherever possible. Their welcoming Taproom, unique setting, and strong community presence make every visit memorable. A massive well done to the Iron Pier team — a truly well-deserved win!
