Low Carbon Business Support in Gravesham
With the increasing focus on decarbonisation and reducing our environmental footprint, Gravesham businesses can benefit from dedicated advice and (in some cases) financial support to assist them in doing so.
- The Kent and Medway Growth Hub have a new Decarbonisation Adviser, Andrew Stevens, who can provide businesses with a free 90-minute audit to advise them on how best to reduce their carbon output to become more sustainable, carbon efficient and save money. - The Low Carbon Across the South and East (LoCASE) programme provides a free business support programme in the South and East, inclusive of Gravesham. The aim is to assist businesses to become more competitive and profitable, while protecting the environment and encouraging low carbon solutions.
To do this, LoCASE provides grants for businesses of up to £10,000 (or 40% of total project costs) as well as training workshops and fully funded events. Targeted business support is on offer for companies who offer “green” or low carbon goods and services.
