Trevor Souten

Trevor Souten has undertaken an apprenticeship at Coachwork Renovations Ltd, Gravesend for the past three years.

It has been a period of self-development and becoming a team player and this 20-year-old says he takes pride in being reliable, motivated and eager to take on new challenges.

He said: “I understand that the automotive industry is constantly evolving so I make every effort to learn new techniques and build my experience so I can become a highly skilled technician.

“I enjoy gaining hands-on experience and applying what I learn to real situations in the workplace. I also work well as part of a team, listen to advice from experienced colleagues and always aim to complete my work to a high standard.”

Trevor says he is passionate about the motor industry and is focusing on building a successful career within it.

Balancing studying alongside his apprenticeship took effort, commitment and determination. There were times when he found it challenging to stay motivated with something he did not naturally enjoy, but he understood the importance of achieving it. Through hard work and persistence, he passed his GCSE English, something he is very proud of.
