When the business was first established in 2017, director Richard Atkinson rented a small workshop and began with only one other staff member. Success over the years meant more employees were taken on.
Mr Atkinson is passionate about reducing the firm’s carbon footprint.
He said: “We have a full roof of solar panels on our workshop and changed over to LED with sensor-controlled lighting in the building so lights are not left on continuously during working hours.
“We have made sure the property has good insulation so heat doesn’t escape during the colder months and the heating does not require being left on at all times.
“We grow our own fruit and vegetables with access so the staff can make their lunches.”
