MAUCARE Services is a social care company providing domiciliary care services to adults aged 18 and above who require support to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.
The company embraces a wide range of disabilities, supporting individuals living with physical and learning disabilities, autism, dementia, mental health conditions, long-term illnesses, sensory impairments, or those recovering from hospital stays.
Domiciliary care involves providing personalised support within a person’s own home, including assistance with personal care, medication, meal preparation, companionship, mobility support, shopping and everyday daily living tasks.
This year, MAUCARE, alongside team members and customers, featured on BBC News and BBC Radio throughout the sixth of January, highlighting the importance of social care within the community and the growing challenges within the sector.
