Amax Estates & Property Services Ltd, on Parrock Street, Gravesend, has been part of the Gravesham community since opening in 2002.
Founded by Maxine Fothergill, the company has taken more than a light interest in the community, and especially in one particular development.
Managing director Maxine Fothergill explained: “Our greatest achievement has been the successful transformation of the Oxley Gardens development, including Elizabeth Fry Place and Edith Cavell Way.
“When Amax was appointed, the estate faced significant financial challenges, compliance issues, service provider debts and a complete loss of confidence following years of poor management.
“Several previous managing agents had been unable to resolve these longstanding problems.
“Working closely with resident representatives, directors and leaseholders, we restored effective financial management, improved compliance, strengthened communication and rebuilt trust across the development.
“Residents began seeing tangible improvements in maintenance standards, financial reporting and overall management.
