For over 20 years Studio Martial Arts has been delivering a wide range of classes at its St George's Street base.
It is an accepted fact that practising martial arts has a good effect on a person's fitness level, both mentally with the discipline imposed and physically.
Founder Danny Dhell said: “We have had many incredible milestones over the years, from producing a multitude of world champions, one of our fighters reaching the UFC, to watching a once-shy child, who initially refused to step on to the mats, gain the confidence to lead a warm-up in front of over 30 people.
“Our members have used the foundation built at the academy to achieve extraordinary success outside it, whether that means passing the bar to become one of the top barristers in the UK, or founding successful businesses across various sectors.
“However, what I am most proud of is that we have created a truly safe space for our entire community. The number of members who have shared that this academy literally saved their life means more to me than any trophy or title.
“We have become a genuine pillar of the community, building generational trust where original members enrol their children, and now even their grandchildren, allowing us to host three generations of the same family training on our mats.”
